Deepworld Mechanics

The mechanics in deepworld is limited yet they offer a whole range of possibilities. Even as of now, many awesome inventions have been made such as @Everywhen 's clock and @Oxidis ' BOSS battle and a Calculator ( I don't remember who ). There are several smaller but useful machines made by a number of players. As of now I'd say the best is Oxidis' BOSS Battle.
I too have made some machines and mini games and they were all my own design. However, now I'm keen to see designs of other players' inventions so that I can expand my way of thinking and also deduce the most cheapest and best design for different inventions.
So, every now and then I'd post a new invention and I'd like to see anyone's design of it with a short description and a picture. This way we mechanic fanatics can be occupied till deepworld updates.

#1 CODE-LOCKED DOORS
These are one of the most common and useful inventions in deepworld. Anyone is free to post their designs of code locked doors.

I really like to see machines from other players, how they think, how they solve problems.
Flynn do you have a world where i can see some machines what you builded?

My code locked door got dismantled, but essentially involved a cat (this was designed pre spawner days), walking across alternating trapdoor-block pattern. Each trapdoor corresponded to a letter. If the cat fell down the correct trapdoors, it would unlock the 4 letter door

I just remembered i have somewhere somekind of locking stuffs. And yay i found 2 of them.

The 1st. one have the instructions next to it on the picture you can read there how its works, it was my first ever builded working machine, like 1 and half year back. Its slow but works

The 2nd one is newer, its a simply code lock. Early prototype not really finished, very bugi.
If you hit the right switch then the terrapus go down by one and if you Pull the 3 right switch then the door gona open, but if you pul a wrong one then the terrapus can go back by one or in worst case its hit the touchplate and restart it .

I think i gona build a good working lock next day
Anyway i have a working rock paper scissors machine (pvp) too.

We'll see to calculators after code doors.

I've made pretty less machine but there's a code door in 'Scaldera' and a Chaos mini game ( co op ) in Aurosphere.
I'm pretty sure both are buggy right now because I haven't visited them in a long time. I'll fix them up and let you know.

I started thinking that spawners are better for faster response and easier reset instead of animals, but I'm interested in your design. Is it possible to make it 9-digit ? How long would it take to reset ?

9 digit is kinda pushing it a bit. 9 letters is probably a long shot, but i've actually just had an idea for that. Because i never used reset switches but rather create adaptive circuits. So depending how many spawners you have to play with, resetting could be a few seconds to a few minutes.

The biggest issue is that once you get to 9 digits, and keeping everything looking the same so people can't just analyse what the password is from the layout, it becomes large enough that mobs won't behave themselves

Spawners are. Racers are lovely. However, i also use rats because they don't climb up walls.

I'm going to be building a second clock soon (actually soon - within the next two weeks) and I'll going to record the whole process and upload to youtube.
It'll have a more compact design and hopefully lose less seconds per hour.

Still needs to be constantly active.

Edit: to add to that, reset circuits are also pricey because for every trapdoor you want to be auto resetable, you need another trapdoor and fancy touchplate

Spawner based code doors can easily do nine digits and with slight mods it can be hard to crack the code by random tapping. But mobs do have different characters and it's fun to explore..

Building machines like this is completely beyond me, and it makes me feel stupid at times! xD

They're pretty darn awesome, for the simplistic stuff we have!
