New to Deepworld

Hi. I joined Deepworld because I was bored and wanted to find an online multiplayer game that had a nice community and it seems like the only game that is like that is Deepworld. I've tried different online games and people are always so greedy and nobody cares about each other. I went online and read reviews on deepworld and lots of people say that Deepworld is better than other games and I'm so happy that there is a game that has a nice community.

I finished the tutorial and learned the basics of the game, went mining for a while but I have been struggling to level up and I don't know what skills I should level up and how to get better items.

    Hey! Welcome to Deepworld!

    - If you want to level up, I'd suggest either mining (as each new item mined gives a bunch of XP, and exploring a new area gives 5 XP) or going to the world "MESSy spawners" and killing monsters. Aiming to complete achievements will alway be one of the best ways to get XP though, such as reaching the bottom of the world, mining lots of new items, killing players in PVP worlds ("cake land" is a great place to go for PvP!), or exploring new areas! All the infomation you need on achivments can be found here: http://www.deepworldgame.com/pages/achievement

    - The skills you choose to level up are entirely based on what you want to do in Deepworld. If you want to mine, I'd strongly recommend upgrading perception, as it allows you to see further away! If you want to build, Building and Engineering are great skills to go for.

    - As for getting better items, it's a good idea to start mining for rares, or trading. My personal favourite is trading. If you want to trade, the most popular world is "Times Square", and you could either sell the stuff you found mining, or if you ask nicely, I'm sure a few people might just give you some starter gear. Before you start trading, it's a good idea to familiarise yourself with the exchange rate and values of certain items, the world "All In One" can tell you everything you need to know about the value of items! I can also suggest the world "Newkidland" to introduce you properly into all aspects of the game.

    - If you like, I can happily donate you a few good weapons and gear to get you started. What's your username in-game?

    - If you've had a play around with Deepworld and think it's a worthwhile game - I would strongly suggest spending a bit of money on crowns, or premium, because it leads you to the really exciting aspects of the game!

Edited to add: I've been playing this game for a while, and I have quite a lot of experience in it! If you have any questions at all, just ask!

At the start, mine everything you can! You gain experience every time you mine an item for the first time. Also, if you haven't already, try to get to the bottom of a world for the Spelunker achievement. Also, craft one of every item you can for even more experience!

    Now, what skills to raise...

First, get perception up to 4 or 5 for better vision.
You should aim for mining and engineering up to 5.
Then perception and stamina up to 8 and 5.
Next spam perception and luck as high as you can.
After this, you can specialise. Agility is good to have for manoeuvrability. Survival will keep you alive longer (not vital, but saves on frustration of dying
In the middle of a dungeon). Building is good for budding architects. Combat is only important for pvp. Automata relates to building in that it lets you use butler bots. Finally, horticulture is for gardening.

Welcome to Deepworld! All I can tell you is to be chill. Stay away from those conversations where they talk about relationships. Just act like you know what your doing and make some friends along the way. Be careful on the ones you choose though. If they ask for rare items, you best to avoid getting scammed.

Welcome to Deepworld. My IGN is CleoAdkins007, and if you need any advice or extra supplies, feel free to ask me. I've been playing Deepworld for 3 years so I'm pretty familiar with the game, including how to avoid being scammed, which is a lesson I suggest you learn as soon as possible. Look forward to seeing you in game!

Welcome! Deepworld does have a very nice community full of amazing people, especially here on the forums.

Still, not everyone can be mature.
I advise you to watch out for people like that.

Welcome to Deepworld! You'll find that the in-game community is a little toxic here and there. However, the forums is a pretty friendly place! Here is my Deepworld playlist btw in case you are looking for any video-related help to guide you on your new adventures :)

    Yay,NEW Player.

    First Of All-
@Pusheen,Welcome to the game and forums.

    As for guides...
Basically try your best to get resources and mine anything new you see.Resources should be used for crafting mostly since crafting new items also gives XP.

Skills to focus on are mostly the exploring wise like Perception,Mining,Engineering,Luck, Stamina and perhaps Survival. You may want to upgrade Building aswell.Horticulture isn't a major skill unless your planning on getting the Horticulturist skill.

Try getting the simple accessories first.Mining Gloves,Stopwatch,Compressor,Power SteamPack and such. They all give +1 to each of their respective skill excluding compressor and power steampack.

Deepworld has a lot of fine and nice people.Watch out for trollers and such out there. If you're looking for more guides, ask me.Ill be happy to help you.

    What's your Deepworld Name?

    Welcome to Deepworld! :D
My advice for you would be to get all of the wood you see. If ever you start building alot you'll find that wood is a very valuable ressource! Oh and if you're trading, avoid trading multiple items, too (stick with the usual 1 item for another exchange) this will protect you from scammers, to some extent :)
