Don't even listen to those crappy tests, they mean absolutely nothing. Certain ideas of "I don't care what race you are" and actually stating the facts about racism ususally ends up with you being racist.
You don't care about race. A person is a person and you judge people based on the individual. You have friends of all kinds of races, but you'll probably marry your own race. You're not averse to any particular race though.

While eating an excessive amount of sugars and fats may be the cause for some Type 2 diabetics, please remember not to make a generalized association between sugar, fat, and diabetes in general. Type 2 diabetes can be caused from this, but also has genetic factors in some cases.
And Type 1 diabetes is not caused by the consumption of excessive sugars and fat AT ALL. It's an auto-immune disease where your immune system has decided to screw you over and destroy every single one of your insulin-producing cells. There's no known cause for Type 1 diabetes, only speculation with regards to the interaction of specific points on the genome and unknown environmental conditions.
In case you guys wonder why I'm a tad angsty on what might be a seemingly insignificant issue, bear in mind that I've had to live with Type 1 diabetes for about 8 years now. I've done nothing to deserve it and memes like this propagate annoying misconceptions that I have to waste my breath on. If you're genuinely interested, drop a line. I won't bite so long as you don't start lecturing me about my supposedly unhealthy lifestyle :)
TLDR; Don't put Type 1 Diabetes and Type 2 diabetes under the umbrella term of 'diabetes'.
the matter of fact is that type 2 IS caused by eating to much sugar and thats whats most common. I dont think this was aimed to hurt peole who have type 1, more to ridicule the people who eat to much.
I think most people know type 1 isnt caused by eating to much, the same way most people know that types of obesity are caused genetically. I think its better to simply explain to people you have type 1, and it isnt your fault, than to get worked up over this stuff. While I totallly get why it hurts you, most people arent mean spirited about it :)
Not worked up at all, just wished to shed some light on the issue (particularly since there was previous digression on this thread). I've laid the facts there more or less for informative purposes. Not everyone does understand and a little knowledge doesn't hurt.
Sometimes part 1 happens when you eat too much sugar, more than the insulin in the pancreas can resist, so it stops working and releasing insulin, at very rare conditions, insulin will be released in a few monthes, that is not diabetes, that is merely "pancreas resting", while in most cases, it stops forever, or until a pancreas transplant or an insulin implant is done
Also, another thing, type 1 happens to children and teens 60% of the time, type 2 mostly happens to adults.
Parrot is dead on with the knowledge drop. Saying that type 2 diabetes IS caused by eating too much sugar is an entirely too simplistic half-truth statement. From the American Diabetes Association:
Myth: Eating too much sugar causes diabetes.
Fact: The answer is not so simple. Type 1 diabetes is caused by genetics and unknown factors that trigger the onset of the disease; type 2 diabetes is caused by genetics and lifestyle factors.
Being overweight does increase your risk for developing type 2 diabetes, and a diet high in calories from any source contributes to weight gain. Research has shown that drinking sugary drinks is linked to type 2 diabetes.
The American Diabetes Association recommends that people should avoid intake of sugar-sweetened beverages to help prevent diabetes. Sugar-sweetened beverages include beverages like:
other sugary drinks.
These will raise blood glucose and can provide several hundred calories in just one serving!
See for yourself:
Just one 12-ounce can of regular soda has about 150 calories and 40 grams of carbohydrate. This is the same amount of carbohydrate in 10 teaspoons of sugar!
One cup of fruit punch and other sugary fruit drinks have about 100 calories (or more) and 30 grams of carbohydrate.

There's also this type of diabetes called diabetes insipidus, where the body has an impaired production of vasopressin which causes the person to pee uncontrollably or they have a hard time retaining pee. this isn't caused by eating too much sugar
Then, you must like Billy Joel. That's the only kind of music I listen too. In my opinion, music nowadays: talent that is made up for my auto tune. When real people had real talent and they didn't need a voice tuner to make tjm selves sound better, that's why I like 70s-90s music.
Music these days isnt worse than before really. The fact is that nowadays its easier to publish songs and get them global, while only quality music was aired on major radio stations around that time. Music wanst better, there was just a better filter
This is coming from someone who listens to 80's music all the time by the way
I never got over nirvana. Its almost like its always playing in my head. I have downloaded most of their songs, may it be bootlegs, covers, hidden tracks and unreleased versions. It's my most favorite band, and it started from the late 80's up until to the early 90's
