I had posted that link of an article so that people could form their own neutral opinions regarding the information without being influenced my biased judgments.
However, if you wish for me to make a "non-lazy" statement, I would like to mention that while I'm not a vegetarian myself, it is important to note that there are many healthy aspects of a vegetarian lifestyle, especially compared to those that consume a large amount of red meat in their diet.
It's important to be respectful and considerate of other people's choices in life, particularly if they in no way affect our own
Of course, there will always be some instances where people do things incorrectly and wind up doing more harm to themselves than good. They tend to be the exception though, not the rule. I'd argue that the same effect can be seen in those who incorporate meat into their diets as well. However, overall, research tends to suggest that a properly monitored vegetarian lifestyle has more health benefits than one that involves eating a great amount of red meat.
I'm willing to provide sources to provide those claims with a scientific basis if you wish, but I wouldn't want that to be misconstrued as me making a "lazy statement" :P
